A Little About Me

This began as a blog about India. India has invaded my life so now this is a blog about my life. One thing that India has taught me is that the broken things often contain the most beauty.

My name is Sarah Swartz.
Working with children and families in India has been a big part of my life since I graduated from Winthrop University in 2009. Some of the stories about that season are documented here. Go dig around if you are interested.

Currently I am in a season of living in Fort Mill, SC with two other wonderful single ladies. They have been such an encouragement to me and a precious micro-community. My passion for children and families is being expressed through my wonderful church family and as I am a daily part of a family of three: a mama, and two treasures adopted from China. Babysitting for this family has been such a blessing and a welcome place to express my love of cultures and desire to empower women and children.

This is a good season, but seasons always change... time will only tell what is down the bend.
